[Fukumoto Anthology Project]
I'm thinking of doing something like Edward Gorey's [The Glorious Nosebleed], but with Fukumoto characters.
I'm finished with school projects and I'm already signing up to do more work. I think I'm a workaholic...

Please consider donating part or all of your economic stimulus check. The money for these checks are being diverted from already under-funded programs that help the poor and women, so you should do some good with that money other than spend it on more consumer crap. And pissing off Republicans is always fun.
[Here are some great suggestions for places to donate.] I need to check if I'm getting one, but if I do I'm planning on dividing it between Planned Parenthood and a local food bank. It would nice to spend that money on bills and student loans, but there are people who need it more than me.

Having been practically living in the school's computer lab in the last week, furiously working to finish everything for my portfolio before the due date this coming Friday. Being in the lab that long has reminded me, as much as I like working in the lab and am pleased with the school's facilities, of all of the things that continue to piss me off about the lab.
So here is ( Reasons the Computer Lab (and Its Users) Piss Me Off (A Partial List) )

So I've finally started working on the final paper for that Independent Study fanfiction thing I think I mentioned a while back. And it should be pretty easy. It just involves writing about the answers to these questions:
1. What is the nature of fiction?
2. Who is the authority of a work of fiction, if any?
-Does a story really belong to its author?
3. How can fiction change?
-What are the ramifications of changing a story?
-What is the philosophical stance of changing a story?
4. What is the status of published fiction (books, etc.) vs. "unpublished" fiction (online fic)?
5. Is fanfiction really a new genre, or just a new name for a trend that is centuries old?
6. How do you feel about self-insertion in fanfiction?
7. What are the goals of fanfiction?
So, if any of the writers on my flist could answer some or all of these, that would be wonderful. I'd like to get a variety of opinions.
Thanks! *goes off to re-read Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead*

A bunch of us graphic design majors hopped onto a charter bus at ridiculous o'clock this morning and headed down to New York City for a tour of some design studios. I'm just gonna talk about the studio we were most excited to visit, and the one that was the most interesting to me, [Pentagram].
